Sephora’s Default Profile Picture

Sephora, the renowned global makeup retailer, hired me to create a default profile image for all accounts on their online web shop and beauty community. I aimed to capture the essence of the brand by creating a sleek black and white illustration of a face that conveys a sense of luxury and sophistication. The graphic also needed to feel inclusive to anyone who uses make up.

The image has been live on all accounts that have not uploaded their own profile image since the completion of the project in 2016. Log into Sephora’s website to see the avatar in use.
